is UTEP'\;s 28th Annual Student Colloquium. This event is created and o
rganized by the graduate students of the Geological Sciences department to
provide the opportunity for students to present their research. This oppo
rtunity is also extended not to just the students of our department but al
so students from the El Paso Community College and students of GK-12 (earl
y-college high school) programs. Funding for this event is mainly raised t
hrough donations from our industry contacts to sponsor lunches, dinners, p
rize awards and a field trip during the colloquium. The UTEP students are
looking for donations/sponsorship to help fund this year'\;s colloquium
