Events will include a field tri p June 4, a short course, golf\n tournament, and ice breaker evening, a co nvention room with booth exhibits, five speaker\n sessions, a poster sessi on, two All Convention luncheons, an entertainment night, and of\n course much fun in the cool White mountains. What we really need to make this\n c onvention memorable are good talks. We will be having six sessions: Genera l\n Geology of the SW Section, Development of Shale Plays in the SW Sectio n,\n Horizontal Case Studies, 3D Seismic Case Studies, Frontier Geology an d Emerging\n Plays, and a Poster Session that can entail talks of any natu re. At this convention, in\n addition to recognizing the best Paper at the SWS convention, we will also have an award\n for best talk of each sessio n to be awarded at the All Convention Luncheon on the second\n day. Talks will be 20 minutes with up to 10 minutes for questions between talks. We w ill\n have a CD of all papers submitted, but an abstract will also suffice . Mainly we want to\n hear what different people are doing in the various areas of the SW Section during these\n exciting times.
