UTEP

El Paso, TX

Description

Coming up March 6-8, 2014 is UTEP's 28th Annual Student Colloquium. This event is created and organized by the graduate students of the Geological Sciences department to provide the opportunity for students to present their research. This opportunity is also extended not to just the students of our department but also students from the El Paso Community College and students of GK-12 (early-college high school) programs. Funding for this event is mainly raised through donations from our industry contacts to sponsor lunches, dinners, prize awards and a field trip during the colloquium. The UTEP students are looking for donations/sponsorship to help fund this year's colloquium. If anyone is interested in supporting this event or needs further information the can contact this year's organizer, Evey Gannaway at cegannaway@miners.utep.edu.
